The Marine Systems group designs, builds and supports submarines and a variety of surface ships for the U.S. Navy and commercial customers. Among the sophisticated platforms the group delivers are nuclear-powered submarines, surface combatants, auxiliary and combat-logistics ships, and commercial product carriers.

Bath Iron Works - With more than a century of experience specializing in engineering, construction and support of surface combatants for the U.S. Navy, Bath Iron Works is the lead designer and builder of the Arleigh Burke (DDG 51) class of AEGIS destroyers and the multi-mission DDG-1000 Zumwalt-class destroyer. NASSCO - The only major ship construction and repair yard on the West Coast of the United States, NASSCO is constructing the Navy's Lewis and Clark-class of T-AKE dry cargo-ammunition ships and is working on designing the next generation of Mobile Landing Platform ships.
